Football gets its own Fantasy thread, why not Hackey? We'll keep the day to day discussion in the general thread once the season starts, but for setup purposes it makes sense to have a separate thread.

We're setting up 3 leagues this year. What follows is the list of posters we have already confirmed for each league:

Yahoo H2H - The standard Yahoo Head to Head league, continued from last year. We had 14 teams last year which is the absolute max I'd be comfortable with.

Yahoo/ESPN Roto League - I think Roto can be a fun alternative to H2H, as you play everyone all year around. For those who don't know, Roto gives you points in each category based on what rank you are. So if you're #1 in Goals, in a 10 person league, you get 10 points. If you're #4 in Assists, in a 10 person league, you get 6 points for that category.

Each point from each category gets added up to your grand total, which determines the league standings.

e: are we keeping the ESPN league from last year? Or remaking? Just checked the league and its still up but I still have my full roster, can select keepers etc but I'm guessing that won't stay as is.

ESPN isn't like Yahoo, once I renewed it carries everything over. So if you were in the league last year, you don't need to re-sign up.

Once the draft starts all non-keeper players go back in the pool. So don't worry that you still have your old team. I know it seems strange, it kinda weirded me out the first time I did it too, but it works out.

Still waiting to hear from Kaksha and Ivaden regarding ESPN. I assume Kaksha is in because he's done it the last 2 years, but not sure about Ivaden since I don't think he's been around all August. Sending out Sep an invite to ESPN for now though in case Ivaden doesn't come back.

Sent my email, I see I'm listed for ESPN H2H, but if there isn't room in it for me, than put me down for Yahoo H2H. If ESPN's a keeper league, I got no probs taking over for someones team if someone isn't renewing in the league.

Oh yea, I forgot I set it like that last year. I originally wasn't planning we'd do it this year. I don't mind doing keepers, but we may potentially have new owners coming on, so I'm not sure how that's going to work.

Worst case scenario Sep switches with Ivaden, and maybe I can rig it so Sep would get Ivaden's players? It might be easier just to have next year be the designated keeper year, so people can draft accordingly (like taking super raw rookies in late picks). Or if we do do it this year, I'll probably lower the number to like 2 keepers to keep the draft interesting.
