Namco Bandai will monetize the title through virtual item sales. Details about the items have not been leaked yet, but Namco Bandai’s other free to play games like Tekken Revolution and Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation have some kind of energy that limits the amount of plays sessions.
Siegfried and Mitsurugi are confirmed to be in Soulcalibur: Lost Swords and the game appears to use the Soulcalibur V artwork. Soulcalibur: Lost Swords will be released for PlayStation 3 later this year.
Heading WestNamco Bandai today confirms that Soul Calibur: Lost Swords will be coming to North America and Europe exclusively on the PlayStation Network for PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system.
The next exciting chapter in the hit Soul Calibur franchise will be a Free to Play single player experience and will feature numerous famous fighters including Siegfried and Mitsurugi.
More information on this brand new title will be revealed during the Tokyo Game Show.
