    As much as I love Castle I fucking hate this story arc. I really do. And it's really disappointing the writers didn't recognize just how ridiculous this is. I'll keep watching because it's a great show. They need to resolve this and get into some gory details as to why he became a writer etc.

    More subtle hints about what happened to Castle that made him want to be a writer. Good episode I thought.

    Word made it around that Castle had been associating with the mob during the investigation, and then the dirty cop was killed by a mob hit while in police custody.
    It makes Castle look dirty as hell, so the mayor has to seal away that radioactive shit.

    FYI this got renewed on Thursday so we're getting at least one more season. I don't think Katic has signed a new contract yet but honestly I would be surprised if she doesn't.
