Burke's a smart guy when it comes to hockey, regardless of what Leafs fans think of him, I always thought he was taking our team in the right direction, I can't say I liked every move of his, but he did make us a much much better team, and his track record should speak for itself.
That being said, he's a douche, not for what he did in cutting Bobby, but for what he did afterwards. You cut guy, okay move on, don't beat a man when he's already down, there was no need for him to come out saying he should have drafted JJ instead, or any of the other shit he said, that's what makes him look like a complete douchebag. Even if they win Gold, he's still going to look like a douche for everything he said.
What a fucking slapper by Seguin, wow.
what the fuck is up with this team in the 3rd
Dear western conference
5-spot on Kari Lehtonen
thats how its done.
What the fuck is BG level
Been mia for a couple so sorry if it's a repost but this poped up on my Facebook and I thought of poor Blue.
Hehe yeah. Everything East of us is starting to experience that cold snap too. And that approaching winter storm in parts of the northern states and maritime is going to be brutal for those people. Jets stayed in Ottawa to practice after last nights game as traveling was kinda iffy I heard.
Bluefan, preliminary FUCK THE JETS, THEY'RE GOING DOWN!!! before tomorrow <3

Poile appologizes to Ryan...except this part seems lulzy
according to the espn article, Burke spent the entire process trashing Bobby Ryan, basically saying "I DONT WANT HIM ON THE TEAM I DONT CARE NO MATTER WHAT", then all of a sudden "he was on Burke's roster"? wat?Poile, who said he has spoken with Senators' general manager Bryan Murray about the situation, also revealed Friday that when the management team made their final selections, Ryan was on Burke's roster.
The only saving grace Burke has is to finish with Gold. Silver might be managable, since "we didnt do worse, its tough to say if including Bobby Ryan would be the difference", but anything else, and he not only looks like a piece of shit, but one that can inarguably made a wrong decision WHILE being a piece of shit about it.
I don't give a shit about Burke slagging Ryan in private. What I do care about is the fact that he used dumb reasoning for leaving off one of the best goal scorers the US has.
It wasnt really private, was it? lol Surely they had to know that this guy was gonna post the article demonstrating the player selection process.
As a Canadian, I'm happy he's left off. As a fan of hockey, who wants to see the worlds best compete at the olympics, it sucks.
Lupul was fined $10,000 for that cross-check in the Winter Classic. Glad it wasn't a suspension.
I knew a fine was coming, as we heard nothing about any kind of Shanaban calls. I was expecting maybe 1 game due to his history.
Pavelec expected to start against the Bruins. According to him.
But Noel won't confirm. And now he's getting pissed people are pestering him for an answer.
Dis gunna be gud.
Not as good as Bernier going over Carlyle to tell everyone he was starting the Winter Classic lol.
