I added it to the OP as well.
Reboot and Beasties (in Canada) were my go-to YTV shows back in the day. I concur, bring back Beast Wars.
Shadow Raiders was so much better than Beast Wars bitches.
This is my ultimate fear.
I wish this was the case. I know they had a third movie planned originally, but can't recall what caused the demise of it.
(Unfortunately Tony Jay, the voice of Megabyte died quite some time ago )
Fuck yeah. Shadow Raiders/War Planets was so fucking hype.
Beast Wars/Beast Machines sort of concluded, not sure where they could go with that, although I would watch a new Transformers saga in this style so hard.
*bump*
Not the ReBoot we all know and grew up with, but it's something none the less for a new growing audience, so let's hope it's not crap for their sake.
http://www.corusent.com/home/Corpora...t.aspx?Id=3007Corus Entertainment has given the greenlight to Mainframe Entertainment—the television division of the multifaceted Vancouver-based animation studio Rainmaker Entertainment (TSX VENTURE:RNK)—to produce 26 half-hour episodes of a reimagined version of the classic and first-of-its-kind CG-animated television series ReBoot. Reboot: The Guardian Code, a hybrid live-action/CG-animated series to be distributed globally by TWC/Dimension Television (excluding Canada)commences production on the heels of theseries’ 20th anniversary featuring cutting-edge technology that will reboot the ReBoot universe to create a groundbreaking multi-platform experience.

Also the amount of threads that had reboot in their title before I found this one.....
By Hybrid Live-Action/CG-Animated they mean mocap, right? Right you guys?
It's probably going to be some bullshit where it's live action with some lame kids in the real world, but CGI in the Quest...errr...Interweb World where the kids go inside.
Here's a bit of the plot:
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/corus-...185446700.htmlOver 20 years after ReBoot first booted up, ReBoot: the Guardian Code transforms four teens (Austin, Parker, Grey and Tamra) into new Guardians whose mission is to save the world “with the help of VERA, the last surviving cyberbeing from the original Guardian Program.”. They take on a nefarious hacker known as the Sourcerer, as well as an upgraded Megabyte, who try to unleash viruses that remotely open a dam to flood cities or destroy nuclear power plants.
So there's the live action element: Teens from the real world get transplanted into the computer and become Guardians. Also, I have been reading from various other sites that Bob makes an appearance in the pilot along with Enzo and Dot throughout the series.
Real world shit souns like if Disney is developing this to.replace one of their shit live shows.
Live action actors in a cartoon world only works if it revolves around a ridiculously stacked cartoon babe.
That movie would be rated R today.

I dunno how this shit was PG-13.
