Are you saying you deliberately place her to avoid having her get hit by the purple shit? The fairy can sit in that purple shit just fine. She doesn't get slowed, and it barely hurts her.
You obviously have to place her if she gets knocked back into the poison, but beyond that, I just set her in the middle and forget her.
It's not out of necessity. Just boredom. You can just keep her in middle since that's only Heavy debuff and who cares about that. Sides are Slow.
Plus it makes me look like I know what I'm doing, I guess.

By the purple shit? That's all I meant. I know she can get slowed by other stuff. I've never seen the purple goop slow her, but I rarely run AK on SCH.
She does get slowed by at left/right purple. Succor and maybe pre-stoneskin are enough to null the hit anyways though.
I can also confirm she can be slowed. I just place her in the middle on demon wall and possibly erase her slow if I feel like it. I sit in cleric stance full time and let her heal. She is a stupid whore and I hate her, so I usually just ignore the slow.
Minor thought occurred to me the other day: Crystal Tower might hamstring SMN/SCH/BRD-heavy groups due to the 30 debuff limit unless SE plans on allowing CT bosses to have more on them. Though it's supposed to be pretty easy in any case so whatever?
It's going to affect all the jobs since every job has 1-3 dots/debuffs they can put up. It's a stupid limit which will hurt SMN the most since dots are the main damage source. I read a dev quote a while back that mentions that everything has a 30 debuff/buff limit, including players. If memory is an issue, I don't see why they can't just lower the debuff/buff limit for players from 30 to 15 and shift that over to enemies.

The Awareness buff from PLD do not only block Critical hits from mobs
But also Critical hits from heals, so if you see that you dont crit alot on a PLD see if he has Awareness up

Unless you need the (melded) VIT or ACC on crafted i70 accessories, i90 pretty much always wins. I think Myth bracelets are slightly better but meh, i90 is i90.

I have a question for parser-using SMNs here. Do pet damage/dps is already included in the SMN's result? or do I need to add pet damage on top of the SMN's damage?

If Pet DPS + SMN DPS added, thats 19 more DPS than higher geared BLM, doesn't seem right.
