Raynor is surprisingly good for having such a small toolkit. Pretty fun to chase people down with 2nd ult.

Raynor pairs amazingly with Azmodan for lane pushing as well.

Had a quick match like that once, it was very nice. We had a fort down at around lvl 4. The combo really shines on spider, dragon, and garden maps. I think Raynor is pretty easy to build in that role without sacrificing his team fighting ability.

Raynor is pretty underrated when he can be built in various ways and output great damage while supporting auto-attackers and minion waves.

paired with like rank 45 people when your like rank 35... pretty sure the enemy team was rank 30's, because the game ended in about 8min >.>

I'll just league in the noon time when your more likely to have similar ranked people

Yea, doing HL at 8am PDT is a whole world of difference than prime time hours. Queues are a hell lot shorter as well. Though one game we were up against possibly a rank 40+ player who looked like a fish out of water on Lili. Pretty much threw for their team and this was at 3pm PDT.

Another HL game in I went Gazlowe. Got flamed since everyone thought I wasn't doing DPS since it's lolGazlowe, he's a shit-tier hero, etc. I told my team to tab to the charts and stating I'm doing the best I can, and I know how to play the hero well. Entire team proceeds to yell at Kael'Thas because I was doubling, maybe almost tripling his hero and siege damage and had way more xp earned. Also didn't help we had a 3rd wheel Tyrande who didn't team fight with us for the most part. Maybe that was a game of rank 30+s and I'm sitting at 10

If you're not shitting on everyone's damage for like, the first 15 minutes of a game as Gazlowe you're doing something very wrong. I think the recent patch that buffed him made him a real solid character now. Can't solo bosses anymore (well, you can but you have to use a shit tier build to do so) but his push is still ridic and if your team actually lets the enemy fight in to you your turrets and laser just fucks people real bad. I don't think he'll ever have anything but a bad rep though, he was mediocre as hell at anything but pushing for so long and he seems to attract some of the strangest fucking players even now, motherfuckers just refuse to leave their lane the entire game and don't ever come to any objectives or teamfights.

Yea with Gazlowe I go CD reduction on scrap, Promote or double laser charge on 4, First aid or slow turret on 7, Grav for heroic, slow/freezing laser @13, double charge @16. It is really funny getting a laser off every 10 seconds for 400-600 damage. I should try the TNT build more but I really like his revamped laser. I like using him as my specialist more now since playing hammer is so hard when dealing with blizzards and flamstrikes and trying to set up siege mode.

Yeah the laser went from something I almost never use to something I just fucking love now. People really underestimate how ridiculously fast it reaches max damage once you hit 16. I should try messing with the scrap cooldown reduction more, I usually take the mana one just so turrets are completely free and then I don't ever stop throwing them down. It's funny when you're pushed up hard but anyone who tries to come and gank you just has to fight through 4 turrets because they essentially cost 0, no reason to ever stop putting them out. Tend to use a pretty similar build otherwise, though I tend to favour the aoe turrets (even though its not a 360 aoe now I still think it's real strong, especially since you can start using a free turret + laser for fast laneclear and save mana not having to use bomb to push aggressively) over the slowing ones.

I'm getting in on the Gazlowe love too. Picked him up on the sale and I like him a lot more than my other main specialist, Nazeebo. I'll have to try playing with his laser more. I was focusing on turrets and tnt mostly. I'll try a laser build tonight.

Scrap CD one is funny with laser. You plop turrets, charge up a laser. D a turret for scrap, charge up laser 4 seconds later, and at 16, hooo boy Gazlowe is quite literally a laser machine gun.

I do understand his weaknesses though. He excels in Cursed Hallow of all places. The turrets can create space right before the tribute spawn. Jam up a turret in an avenue to dismount rallying enemies. It creates good space. Other maps, it is a bit harder. Sky Temple is a bit too open for Gazlowe, but it's workable. He is better than Hammer on larger maps. And you do need bit more team coordination to get the most out of him. It isn't easy, but I sure as hell trying more to make him work.

The biggest problem with Sonya is her lack of sustain and to a lesser extent lack of reliable gap closer (unless you talent for it). I only have seen her work in 2 ways... Running Support, Assassin, Specialist, Tank, Sonya or Hard Support, Tassadar/Uther for 2nd support, Assassin, Spec/Assassin, Sonya lineup. Her toolkit is pretty much a gimp but bursty Illidan. But her Whirlwind is so underwhelming. I ran Wrath of the Berserker + Life Funnel and was hitting all 3 Lost Vikings + 1 other hero. I still died in the middle of whirlwind's duration from 50% life to 0 while hitting essentially 4 heroes. It's stupid when ignore pain at 20 is a requirement since the rest of her lvl 20 talents do nothing to help her do more damage... Which is to say to help her live to do damage.

Basically need to watch for her little invisibility ripples. After a while you can guesstimate where she is if you know she's around. Helps to play someone who has a cheap quick AoE that can reveal her. Or Tassadar.
