Have to say I am really enjoying Leoric and his draining mechanic and setting up plays with his ult to trap enemies haven't had this much fun with a tanky char in a long time since Tyrael.

So watching TI5 made me start firing this up again. Because of XI and XIV I'm just doing AI solo for my goblins and quests.
And to help get quick gold and rounding, I favor using any heroes I'm not level five in yet. Today I get a quest to use Starcraft heroes, and the only <5 SC hero available to me was Abathur.
Abathur is weird.
And I think I like it.
Monk dropped today. He's a lot of fun. I'm not a fan of playing support but I like him a lot.
Only problem is he needs to be so close to people to heal, really needs a dive comp to be really strong.
He is so strong, and his ultimates make a real difference every time.
Any game he was present in was really noticeable. Sharing a lane with him on my Leoric was a straight wrecking ball.
His deadly fist combo just wrecks. Healing is weird cause it's never targeted, but if you take the healing fist and stay auto attacked with deadly fista you end up healing a lot.
If anyone doesn't mind playing a few games with a casual player (ok you'll probably be carrying me), add me. I'm a decent heals on Li Li and slowly learning Valla. Intrinsic#1186
Playing 'Gall is so disorienting. But it fits the flavor of the game so I'll hand it to Blizzard. Fun but can be oftentimes frustrating. If anything, Cho'Gall is a friend killer.
Haha indeed. I think he's suffering from the same problem you see with lower rank games in that losing the extra body on the field hurts so much unless youre good enough to make up for it. Chogalls abilities are alright, but so far I haven't seen a good enough one to make up for losing a second character roaming the field with their abilities being used separately.
I'm in love with Artanis though. Twin blades, especially with the 3x hit talent and blade dash cool down upgrades, keep those shields up so easily. Loving it when I'm at 10% and some one wants to try and chase me solo; I just turn my happy ass around and start wailing with non-stop shields. Ended up killing three characters in a row last night just cause they kept streaming to me thinking they can finish me off where their teammates couldn't.
A good Cho'gall is a pain in the ass to play against because Gall's abilities have so much range, but I read that Brightwing's polymorph disables both of them and also interrupt's Gall's ult, so it's hard to see him getting much high-level play with such a hard counter.
Losing the body in a team fight without the ability to do some back door split push abathur bullshit is pretty bad. But he does wreck some face. Although I hate his q until it's talented at 7.
Loving playing Leoric against all these Cho'galls (% drain) especially at 20 with the 5% damage + heal on melee he just "lols" at him.
Yeah, he's a great and unique concept, but there's so many ways to just deal with him effectively. And once he's down, not only do you the gain the exp of two kills, but the map is basically 5v3 until he respawns. No thanks.
Ok, I'm getting annoyed with not being able to que for HL with more than 2 people. It's retarded when I can't get a decent group, every single fucking time there is at least one person just trolling the fuck out of us all or picking the worst class possible in order to fulfill quest requirements. It's getting ridiculous; pre-wipe I was level 8 and now I can't past freaking 35 because I keep getting matched with teams that think we don't need a healer, or some one who has last slot to fill with a dps so they pick abathur. Thank guy.
Really don't see why Blizzard changed this. I see no reason to not let me pick up 2-3 friends and 3-4man HL, reserving 5man teams for Team League. Super fucking annoyed to the point where I don't even want to play this game any more.
Honestly I would just pick a hero you are good with that can carry the rest of the team (especially if you're queueing with someone else) until you hit ranks where people start choosing better comps. Statistically speaking the other team is going to face the same issues, so it should be surmountable.
The latest patch really messed up balance in general. The combination of scaling changes, weaker towers, and all the Cho'Gall nonsense has made so many matches snowball after a few minutes because you either outmatch the enemy team completely or they outmatch you. Early game mistakes add up quickly and are much harder to recover from. Specialists can really wreck you early game with how quickly you can take out forts. Assassins feel really squishy now and it feels much easier to gank or be ganked with no ability to react. I see some people saying it feels easier to come back now but it feels the complete opposite to me.
Maybe people just need to adjust their playstyles to the new scaling changes, but right now I feel like I've had too many games where we have no chance from the start and no opportunity to come back. I also had one game where my team ended up level 17 to 11 and was completely unstoppable.
Also while I'm at it, Blizzard's netcode is awful. Almost every game since the patch I get 2-3 second freezes several times a game and it gets incredibly frustrating right in the middle of a team fight.
Concur, the lag is getting quite annoying. I first attributed it to post-update lag with thousands logging in at the same, but two days later it hasn't improved.
So 2.0 is out, there's an event quest to do with Overwatch bonus rewards.
In opening the pile of crates I got, I nabbed 4 legendaries, 3 shins and Genji of all heroes, and a couple other heroes.
With the assassin mega pack giving me the least repeats, I'm suddenly past having half the heroes.
anyone playing with guldan? jfc, he's fun.
Yeah he's a blast. I have the most of the assassin pack so I grabbed the tanks and bruises pack since I only have a few of those, ended up with like 3-4 A+ to S+ tier heroes for free which I'm looking forward to toying with. Idk if she was nerfed but I'm surprised tracer isnt top tier, I see the playstyle is listed as "hard" but I fucking dominated with her back when she came out.
someone show me how to play this cuz idk how to play this and want the overwatch stuff
