    Surprised at no test server update but I guess 2hrs and RME updates were relatively well tested by them already. Still I wanted a sneak preview.

    Mocchi made a post about new blu spells, googlefish is butchering the names but some has additional effects. Who wants to bet it won't work? Also, maint is confirmed to be Monday the 4th from jp's maint page.

    Matsui posted a lot of defensive statements about the new 2-hours and clarified a few things, but I'm not sure any of the info is actually new.

    quick and dirty blu list

    normal use (i'm just going by kata and if i recognize it i'll use the actual english name)

    - Nature's Meditation
    - tempest upheave
    - rending deluge
    - embalming earth
    - paralyze triad
    - foul water
    - glutinous dart
    - retina glare

    with notorious knowledge only (the nm one. i forgot the english JA)

    -Droning Whirlwind

    i think they limited it to mobs from the original release of SoA only, because there are only 3 Naakual moves in there too. nothing from Tulfaire, Yumcocks, Hurkan or Snapweed.

    Time to butter up to the LS leader to get Blu taken along to things lol. Glad it's on the fourth, capped out on coalition imps, didn't wanna waste another week of recharging waiting for the update to hit. :D

    I also will be blowing substantial amounts of Imps next week. I hope they increase max coalition rank with this patch.

    Believe that was mentioned in the details posted last week, but if it wasn't, it surely will be increasing to open up the assignments for Khamih Drifts. Curious if it'll be one or two personal ranks though. Prolly only one edification rank, the chimney being the added option.

    Wonder what the chimney will be adding though. With previous Bayld gear sets, they were all spread over multiple ranks, while this entire tier of gear (unless they throw in additional ranks that weren't in the .dats) will all come from this single upgrade. Hope other coalitions add useful things, no more seasonal food, drop list creator that crashes the game, or silly discounts. Had that Alliance gear set in the .dats last update, I'd imagine that's coming from Mummer's for medals.

    I posted blue magic and will translate the other stuff. @Yugl, attack power is exactly what it says for Natures Meditation, not sure what you were thinking it was.

    I think blu has a routine spot in foret delve...not so much the other two. Max trolling by SE!! It better be 10"% learn rate to compensate lol

    BLU can replace any DD for those runs, but it will be difficult to convince pickup groups to let you blu. Also blu is much stronger in ceizak than foret.

    Not to mention everyone is going to be trying to get their blu in those runs. For many (most by now?) new blue magic will be the only reason to even do those delves.

    And why cant any other /blm mage ES sleep 2 for the same result? Not to mention that when a mob is asleep you cant attack it either lol


    If it imposed an additional modification to debuffs, people probably wouldnt bitch, since it wouldnt just be a 60 min ES:
    Sleep-nightmare sleep
    Para-proc on WS, or massively heightened proc rate
    Slow-reduce casting time/recast time
    Silence-amnesia as well
    Addle-massive macc/cast time down
    Dia/bio-1 tier, or even 2 up
    Gravity-massive eva down/weight

    Nothing really new but some interesting clarifications on the new SP effects in the last feedback post. Seems like the new MNK SP can be used as an instant 2000-ish HP heal, aside from doubling HP, which gives it some more utility.

    And with that translations the dev team once again proves they don't play the game and have no idea how it really works just how they think it will work in theory.

    And seriously wtf would be the use of chaining silences on something? Or sleep for that matter when we stun locking?
