The update notes only mention adjustments to current Trusts, so I wonder if perhaps the note on adding new Trusts was a mistake.

Not like getting one 100 piece ever will be difficult unless you're trying to get in within hours of the servers going up.
Yeah I mean hundo pieces are easy now with Ambuscade
New devpost:
JP1) Weekly devpost summary. Nothing new.
New info on the mobile version, no idea what is being said. Mobile collaboration featured. >.>;;
Oh? I'll watch it when I'm on wifi. Roughly which part is it at
Skimmed through it, but all I could find was info on an FFXI/Seventh Rebirth collaboration event.
This is not ffxi mobile being shown, it's tanakas game seventh rebirth. The assets and music from ffxi is a crossover event. That's why he was on the panel.
That reminds me... under which official reason did Tanaka leave / was he distanced from the game?
The consensus is that he left due to health reasons, but some believe it was because of the horrible ff14 1.0 launch.

Ooooh right completely forgot that he actually was the mastermind behind 1.0.
Yeah that was totally the reason why he was kindly asked to "be removed due to health reasons" xD
When I think about it... it's odd.
Practically speaking FFXIV 1.0 was one of the biggest videogame disaster I can think of, but "philosophically" it had many many many ideas I liked and that I found very original in the MMO market. They just had the worst possible implementation ever.
It's quite the opposite from FFXIV 2.0 and onwards, which has tipically quite a very good implementation (even though I still resent the fact they kept the "zoning" aspect) and plays fine, but it's not really a very original MMO, it's kinda more of a japanese iteration of the WoW model. Which is still miles better than all other character-less WoW clones don't get me wrong, but at the same time it's not really something "different" like FFXI or like FFXIV 1.0 was trying to be (and failed at).
I dunno if this makes any sense for anybody, it's hard to explain.
1.0 was a rough uncut still dirty rare diamond. 2.0 is a large perfectly cut Cubic zirconia that's been polished and set into a piece of jewelry
Good metaphor there!
Tanaka leaving FFXI was the best thing that ever happened to FFXI, yeah I said it come at me Abyssea hater bros
I'm so glad that wasn't the FFXI mobile, I was about to barf.
Yeah.. just s collab event with another mobile game
