Wolverine 3: Logan (March 3, 2017)

Saw this last night. Fucking loved it. DC just needs to quit now. Getting bodied by Marvel studios/Disney and Fox.

Got choked up when the Professor had feels for the incident he remembered, and how he didn't deserve a good evening. Man tears shed during the "daddy" scene.

I agree with TPG for the most part. Movie was a bit of a mess towards the end, but still enjoyed the shit out of it. Great acting all around. Surpassed Watchmen in terms of comic book movie gore/violence while pulling it off so well. 10/10

I liked First Class. Days of Future Past would've been great if Magneto wasn't a douche for no reason. Kinda remember X-2 being good. The Wolverine was good until the last 20~30 minutes. All the rest were garbage and not worth mentioning.

Yes. Definitely the best since they've always focused on the Prof and Wolverine as the main characters anyway.

Blink and Warpath, the best parts of that entire movie.

It's not the movie run, it's the merchandising I thought. Are we ready to admit we are a-okay with letting our children play and idolize these vigilante mutant Rated-R muthafuckers? Or can we artificially hold back the violence, make it PG-13, and still sell toys guilt-free?

You realize they have Halo and Assassin's Creed Mega Blocks right? I.E. lego's for toddlers.

While they put Wolverine in to a main part, again, there was so much more focus on the other mutants.

>McAvoy's beaten down, conflicted Professor X was a great parallel to Stewart's wiser, more experienced Professor. The two of them talking was a great scene.

Mystique was the weakest part of that movie. Mainly because Lawrence is a terrible actress. I figured Apocalypse was gonna be fire after DoFP, but Singer went and did all the cocaine, or something....

I disagree with one point. Magneto in my opinion was grossly misused. Like, what was even the point of them breaking into wherever to release him? All dude did throughout the movie was aggravate the situation. I'm sure Wolverine and X could've handled shit on their own without all that drama.

I think the idea was they needed him to reign in Mystique, and they kinda did.

She was pissed at Charles (who was also de-powered) and there's no way she'd have listened to Wolverine, she was on the warpath after losing all of her comrades and learning about Trask's experiments on them.
