Aside from some plot elements this doesn't look like it will tell remotely the same story as the original Old Man Logan. Which is for the best because Old Man Logan included a ton of people Fox does not have the rights to

I agree, it seems that's for the best, but not because they don't have the rights to some of the characters. They won't be able to screw up another popular plot with shitty characters/character development.
I...
I'm very excited.
That song plus Old Man Jackson gave me chills.
Steve Murphy!
Synopsis:
Set in 2024, Logan and Professor Charles Xavier must cope with the loss of the X-Men at the hands of a corporation led by Nathaniel Essex. With Logan's healing abilities slowly fading and Xavier's Alzheimer's hampering his memory, Logan must defeat Essex with the help of a young girl named Laura Kinney, a female clone of Wolverine.
Wow great trailer. Great song they picked for it and this actually looks like something different in a good way
You can't go wrong using Johnny Cash for a trailer. Thankfully the wait to see this is not too long.
Damn, this looks good. Gonna be a kick in the feels if they cap the Professor. It'll be much more emotional than his first "death" in X3 for sure......
Also, can't go wrong with The Man in Black.

Man tears will be shed after seeing this movie.
Damn. This trailer was intense.
Welp... earned my day 1. Think I'll do 1 more trailer before lights out.
I'm expecting massive sadness at the end of this movie. Tears will be had if they are really going to use this to kill of Jackman's Wolverine and Stewart's Xavier
Shish-Kabob anyone? Also, that kid is X-23, right? Cause the way she was jumping around, sure looked like she was stabbing people with claws.
Spoiler: show
Yes that is Laura Kinney (aka X-23)
Xavier's gonna die for sure. The question is how he goes out. They're being hunted it seems and Xavier isn't very mobile. Does one of the big-bads off him? Does his Alzheimer's get the best of him? Does he go depressed over all his lost X-Men and mind control Logan into killing him?
Either way, Xavier dies. Logan becomes a recluse after saving X-23 from the big bads or actually dies himself. The next X-Men movie somehow has X-23, as an adult, time travel back to the time period of that movie saying she doesn't want that future or something that doesn't make sense because it's Fox.
Other than the shitty prediction that ironically may come true because it's Fox, I have high hopes for this movie. I always liked Hugh Jackman as Wolverine so I hope this movie is a great sendoff.
well this movie takes place in the future so that makes me curious how they will do grown up X-23 without going further into the future (or time travel that I doubt). Wasn't Wolverine 2 present time and the corrected DoFP time line reverted back to present time? This takes place in 2024.
This movie will basically solidify any future Wolverine/X-23 movie takes place ahead of the current time line and will allow them to still use Jackman to cameo as Wolverine when its needed for other films
Well Jackman is supposedly done after this movie so don't expect any more Wolverine movies.
I'll fuckin be there
How u kill off professor x in a wolverine movie lel
That trailer was fucking amazing.
