I kinda miss ME3 multiplayer, haven't played it in a while. I loved playing on gold, and then my first few games on platinum were pretty much me and teammates screaming "OHGODOHGODOHSHIIIIIIIIIIT WHY GOD WHHHHHHHY" before failing miserably.

yeah it's crazy cuz every now and then you run into fucking gods that can just solo platinum while the other 3 flail against a wall, while most of the time on gold you'll end up being the one soloing everything

Geth Juggernaut baby. I've soloed a couple of platinum runs just to see if I could. Couple points it was touch and go in every one of them.

If you guys haven't checked out Warframe it is probably the closest thing to ME3 MP I have played, it is F2P (with some shitty time gating hurdles on early gear acquisition) and a pretty damn fun time.

would require them to choose a canonical ending, which they seem to be against. it's going to be a completely separate universe

It's a huge universe, plenty of opportunity to make a prequel story compelling

However to involve humans, you'd have to set it sometime right around of after first contact war, which really limits what you could do imo. I'm all for an alternate universe, maybe mix up a bit of the various racial histories (so maybe Krogan never suffered from genophage or geth are viewed differently etc) and let us have at it.
