Why do I get the feeling Finn Jones is gonna fuck up Danny Rand?
It sounds more like pacing problems. He can't fuck up the character if they don't have him do anything with it.
A lot of these reviews (which is hilarious) are focused on his race. Which is retarded. Paraphrasing here but "this was marvel's chance to cast an asian for a main role but instead a white man gets the role in typical hollywood fashion"
ugh
After the initial outrage, how do people still not understand that Iron Fist being white is like the whole point of the character?
Well he could've been any race so long as he was American, but I'll be super honest; him being white ain't gonna bug me.

Daredevil definitely set the bar pretty high.
nah, JJ took a while.
Nah I was hooked after that elevator scene.
JJ became a slog. It could've done with 3+ fewer episodes to tighten the pacing.
Fuck that, Jessica was awesome.
It was great, but it definitely benefited from all of it being released at once. David Tenant was fucking superb. Maybe I'll watch it again sometime, but from what I remembered it took a few eps to really get good. To me, anyways.
Jessica Jones would have been garbage without David Tennant. He was fantastic.
Indeed, JJ is actully the best one among DD and LC.
Episodes are up. See y'all on the other side~
I've been watching. The writing isn't as terrible as the reviews state, but the pacing definitely is. It feels like the series is constantly 3-4 episodes behind where it should be in the progression of the plot.
Spoiler: show
As far as whether or not they should have made him Asian, all the problems with the story would still be there if John Cho was the lead instead of Finn Jones. It's not the acting that's the issue, or the thematic elements (if you can get over a white guy knowing wushu).
