Feels like they figured out no one likes Danny and basically spent the whole time trying to work around him. The sad thing is that there were flashes of a likable Danny in Luke Cage that they squandered by basically giving him the same plot as Luke, trying to defend a territory that's going to war with itself, and the same guilt about it. Ward continued to be a surprisingly likable character. Typhoid Mary was used well until the last episode.

I just hope they clarify who the immortal iron fist is this time.

It was okay.

Daughters of the Dragon is going to be a thing I guess. Still don't like Misty so that's something to not look forward to.

Ward is still pretty great.

Danny is much better but as Gred said, they missed an opportunity to capitalize on the fact that they did 10 episodes of him not being shitty. Unfortunately that was done by having him do pretty much nothing for 10 episodes.

Typhoid Mary was pretty good though

I thought Walker was her typhoid personality and the third unseen/hinted one was Bloody Mary?

This season was a step up from season 1. Honestly 10 episodes seems to be the right balance for these type of shows as Luke Cage and Jessica Jones dragged on for a bit too long for me.

I felt the same way about this as I felt about season 2 of JJ and LK. The supporting cast was great, the lead frustrates me. Colleen, Mary, BB, the leader of the hatchets whatever his name was, all great. Danny? Insufferable, just like S1.

I'm a non comic person, is there more than one Iron fist in the comics? Did Danny find another Iron First corpse at the end, and another dragon to get its heart or something? If it's the same dragon as Colleen I assume she'd suffer for it.

I was one of the few who thoroughly enjoyed s1, have seen it twice. s2 was ok but I really didn't the fact that the writers essentially "caved in" and for pretty much wrote out Danny the second half of the season w/ a broken leg. It was more like Coleen and Misty ft/ that iron fist guy.

In spite of the fact that s1 being a big ratings success and netflix "most binge-watched show of 2017" the writers walked everything back after a vocal minority trashing the show online. Wish they had some guts too follow their vision instead of listening to the backlash. its like oh a bunch of bots on twitter hated the show despite its huge ratings so lets change everything about it.

thank god Ward is there to anchor in the show with his amazing acting and suits.

I binge watched this, episodes 4-10 today.

The conclusion was amazing to me. They're doing things with Mary and the legacy of the Iron Fist that I never thought I'd see on screen. I am both satisfied and looking forward to more, so, you know, that's a pretty unbelievable step considering where season 1 was.

I actually rank this above both second seasons of Jessica Jones and Luke Cage. Mostly because I consider the two of those in a dead heat and the ending to this one made the show a lot better as opposed to souring me on everything, like it did for those two.

That's actually where I'm at as well. Watched the first three episodes, thought it was an improvement over S1, but it didn't really hook me. Put it aside to watch another day. I'll have to set aside some time next week to knock em out since it appears to pickup.
