    New Alchemy class

    Alchemist is the 6th ranked wizard based class that will be introduced in the Korean Tree of Savior CBT2. An alchemist’s key skills are mostly associated with crafting and using explosives. Attack skills also exists. For crafting, an alchemist can produce items or add modifications to the items. The gems obtained from monsters have positive effects and negative penalties when used. An alchemist can reduce the negative penalties using [Gem Roasting].

    Perma item loss sounds bad. But if it's not a total grind like ro was I am sold. Really hope this is coming state side

    You can also blow up your gear from Enchanting. Enchanting is just like other Korean games (Tera, Aion and such).

    I was actually talking about the experience grind to 99. Rebirthing and then grinding it again at 2-3 times slower due to more xp required and not the crafting grind

    Ahh I get you!

    There is going to be another Korean CBT in April/May, and IMC wanted a CBT for the international version just after that. So I am thinking a July-Sept. CBT for the English version.

    Yea the original ragnarok online grind was pathetic. I never got past like 78 in pay to play with a friend to heal every day after months. And then mobs started giving like 0.01% xp and shit

    Perma-item loss won't fly outside of Asia, no matter how nostalgic the game is. If they keep it, in the International version, then they've shot themselves in the foot before they've even left the starting gate.

    This right here looks amazing! As Teknique said English release date please. Me personally the grind was not all that horrible, good friends to play with and just overall used to MMORPG grinds

    I only managed to get 99 on support Priest, fuck trying to max level on anything else. Solo grind was pain, dying was even more pain and then once you reached the top...Transcend and do all again but slower! Shit was crazy, but I was pretty bad at MMOs (it was my first) so I'm sure practically it wasn't that bad.

    It was as bad as you remember. Being "bad at MMOs" doesn't mean a damned thing when you literally get .01% of XP TNL on a kill. I don't care how much you speed up the process of killing enemies, you ain't grinding through that at a decent clip without cheating, which, surprise, so many people did!

    This game looks a hell of a lot better than the shitty RO2, which I honestly could not believe was actually made until I realized that I've played shit like Aika Online in the past. Korean games gonna Korea.

    I'll watch someone stream this on twitch when its out.

    I'll admit I botted iRO. The grind was terrible, especially if you didn't have a few friends capable of killing higher level stuff with you.

    I did find a couple good friends in the undead Orc dungeon. Me as AGI Knight/Swordie, and Archer/Hunter, and an Aco/Priest. We took down the Orcs well, but it only lasted so many levels before we had to move on. Most things around the level 50/60 range were ridiculously camped just because of the sheer amount of people trying to fight through those levels, getting bored, and then the new wave comes in.

    Fire Mage with a Hide Clip was the fastest I leveled.

    I stopped playing before the rebirth and second classes were added, unfortunately.

    I did play on a couple private servers eventually to try out the new classes, though. Monk was interesting, but I was still a big fan of Wizards and Dagger Sins.

    I loved monk on private servers but fuck that shit on official. I always loved crit sins cause dagger was super expensive
