I woild rank this pretty high up there. In the scheme of season 4 it might have been the best in terms of story and writing, but I maintain that Vat of Acid was the best thing to come from this session.

SUPER surprising to see them not only go back to things from seasons 2 and 3 but actually give them resolution.

Goddamn what a great finale. After the Train episode troll, I expected no resolution here. Even up to the point he pulled out the mind blowers crystal, I didn't expect us to actually watch it. They gave us so much though, and it was fucking hilarious lol.

I thought I saw some theory-crafting about there not being a clone due to the time frame. Guess some folks are uppity about that.

And do I need to watch the Prestige to fully appreciate the acid vat episode? I still don't get the bit.

I enjoyed the episode, but honestly couldn't follow the flip on Rick from both Beth's. I know he RNG'd his Daughter/Clone and removed it from his mind... but... like I don't like the switches that keep flipping in this family. Their attitudes toward Rick are so random it seriously makes me think every episode is its own reality and there is no cohesion.

Overall, I'm not tired of the Sad song endings, I'm more slightly growing tired of the "Rick gets shit on" endings. Though only if because I know we won't have any resolution on it for years.

Vat of acid and the heist episode were my favorites of the season. The death crystal episode was gold too with Rick constantly reviving in a fascist dimensions was hilarious lol.
