Think I'm gonna get this.
Think I'm gonna get this.
Have only had the chance to play this on my off time so I'm not very far in, but I've gotta say I'm enjoying this so far.
Where in the timeline are the games taking place?
Game starts out right in the middle of the Red Wedding.
Played though the first episode and I can't tell if I made all the shittiest choices possible or if there just aren't any non-shitty outcomes.
A Storm of Swords during the Red Wedding.
Just finished the first episode
Spoiler: show
Is this a full-price buy y/n?
So having not played it yet (I don't usually play TT games until most are complete. I hate the wait between episodes).
Does the game follow the show continuity, or the book? I'm assuming it's the show, since it uses show actors/etc. I don't mind either way, just curious.
Yeah it's based on the show not the books.
Spoiler: show
It's only $25 for a season pass. Well worth it.
Finally finished DA: Inquisition this week, so caught up on this. Great story. Felt very, very ASOIAF; they did a great job.
I was surprised as the level of involvement from some of the regular cast, that definitely helps it feel like a true part of the overall canon. Very well done.
Bump for reminder that Episode 2 is out next week. Feb 3 for PC/Mac, PS3, and PS4. Feb 4 for Xbros. Feb 5 for Mobile.
Anyone else having problems with the achievements in this episode? Played though it but none unlocked.
Played through Episode 2 last night, another very well-written episode with a couple of minor twists I didn't see coming.
One thing I like about this being a Game of Thrones story is that it could very, very easily end up having a good/bad ending with little in between, making each small victory (or setback) actually feel like it's going to matter. In this episode, when I managed toI definitely felt a victory, thinking that it may make the endgame that much more likely to turn out positive. Or negative, for that matter, considering what I had to give up for it.Spoiler: show
They've done a good job of making the apparent villain both believable and easy to hate. Given that it's Game of Thrones, however, it's different than most video games where it's "I can't wait until I get to kill him," as opposed to "Man, I really hope I get the chance to kill him." That's a different feeling than I am used to, and I like it.
Do we know how long till all the episodes are out? I really like to marathon Telltale games rather than play them spaced out.
