Nine (possibly ten if Aaron Rodgers plays) home dogs this week? Strap in, let's do this.
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 12TH
8:25pm EST, NFL Network
San Diego at Denver (-10.5) - Peyton Manning doesn't play well in co--
Oh. Broncos win and cover.
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 15TH
1:00pm EST, CBS
Houston at Indianapolis (-6) - The only thing worse than the Texans season is Moss and Rhinox arguing about Gary Kubiak getting fired. no1curr dot gif. The Colts got embarrassed by Cincy before some Andrew Luck stat-padding made the game seem closer than it was. Their second leading receiver in that game? TRENT, with 5 grabs for 68 yards. See? He's helping! Colts win and cover.
New England at Miami (+2.5) -

Shit-ass touchdown tom (always lowercase) probably felt pretty good after the Patriots won on Sunday, especially because the refs just gave him a Goddamn handjob. Whatever, better draft position for Cleland. Watching the highlights from the Dolphins game on ESPN at work yesterday morning, one of my co-workers said, "Boy, I bet Miami didn't like that weather!" Yes, because everyone on the Dolphins roster was born, raised, and attended college in south Florida. Also, I work with a bunch of dullards. Dolphins in the upset.
Buffalo at Jacksonville (+2) - EJ Manuel's had an up-and-down season, and his performance in Tampa Bay last week is just more evidence that the vast majority of rookie QBs are not ready for the grind of the NFL. I still like his long-term prospects, the results of his next three games aren't as important as the experience he gets from game reps. The Jaguars are 4-1 since their bye week. Damn. CHAD HENNE Y'ALL. Jaguars win in the upset.
1:00pm EST, FOX
Chicago at Cleveland (-2.5) - Pretty sure this line will move. Chicago has the perfect weapons to attack Cleland's defense, two big receivers to keep Joe Haden from locking one down, and a versatile back that will give LBs trouble in space. Chicago is also much better against the pass than the run, and Cleland has no way to grind out a win with their sad run game. Bears win in the (for now) upset.
Washington at Atlanta (-6) - When they drew up the schedule, this was probably seen as a marquee match-up. Now, both teams sit at 3-10. The old adage that says you need a good franchise quarterback to win is somewhat true, but this game features two good, young QBs with little else around them. Try to keep this in mind whenever someone *COUGHESPNCOUGH* mentions a QB's win-loss record. As for this game, Washington seems to be in a lot more internal turmoil than Atlanta, and I think someone really wants Shanahan gone. Between that and being on the road, the Indigenous Peoples will pancake yet again. Falcons win and cover.
Philadelphia at Minnesota (+4.5) -

You might think facing the NFL's dirtiest defensive line in the snow would stop Nick Foles. But he's Nick fucking Foles. Also:

Minnesota had the most Minnesota loss ever, taking the lead twice in the final two minutes and still falling to Ballmurr. It's almost as good as this video (which, if you haven't seen, do so immediately):
Okay, now that's three images/videos about this game, which is probably three too many. Eagles win and cover.
Seattle at NY Giants (+7) -
I just can't get enough of Eli this year. Seahawks win and cover.
San Francisco at Tampa Bay (+5) - Jon Bois's SCHIANO MEN Breaking Madden came out in week 8. Since week 9, Tampa is 4-2. Unfortunately, San Fran is actually good and not even an army of gritty, no-nonsense head coaches can save them. 49ers win and cover.
4:05pm EST, CBS
Kansas City at Oakland (+4) - Skirkle doesn't post that often any more, but I'd like to highlight his sig:
Gets me every time. Oakland plays pretty well at home, though, so I think this might be closer than expected. Chiefs win, Raiders with the points.
NY Jets at Carolina (-11) - Jets on the road. Cam good. Panthers win and cover.
4:25pm EST, FOX
Green Bay at Dallas (-7) - The complexion of this game will change drastically if Aaron Rodgers finally gets back onto the field. Still, I don't think it matters, since Dallas needs this game to get back on track in a week 17 win-and-in scenario, and collapse against Philly. Cowboys win, Packers with the points.
Arizona at Tennessee (+3) - Arizona is one of the top six teams in the NFC, but due to the brilliance of four-team divisions, two mediocrities from the North and East are required to get in the playoffs. Welp. Their best hope is a San Fran or Carolina late-season swoon, but they both have two games they should win left. Going 1-4 in their last five games, and coming off a typical Broncos thrashing, the Titans are pretty much cooked. Cardinals win and cover.
New Orleans at St. Louis (+5.5) - Moss and I agree that Sean Payton has the most punch-able face in the NFL:

What say you, valued BG members? Also, this is your weekly reminder that I will probably be very high on St. Louis next season. Saints win, Rams with the points.
8:30pm EST, NBC
Cincinnati at Pittsburgh (+3) - Man, how sweet would it be for Cincy to deliver the knockout blow on Big Ben's time in Pittsburgh? One headline on ESPN read, "Losing doesn't sit well with Roethlisberger." Hopefully the administrators at Pitt and Carnegie Mellon put out a warning to their female populations. Bengals win and cover.
MONDAY, DECEMBER 16TH
8:30pm EST, ESPN
Baltimore at Detroit (-6) - BLECH. What a shit sandwich of a game. Just when I thought Ballmurr was ded, Jacoby Jones and Marlon Brown brought them back to life. And just when I thought Detroit's run defense was legit, LeSean McCoy happened. In all fairness, the dude was making video game cuts in six inches of snow. I don't much care about this game, but when in doubt, I bet against Jim Schwartz. Ravens in the upset.
