fair enough lol; didn't see an ashitacast thread xD
Let me preface this with saying I am a complete GearSwap noob and don't understand most of what is written in these things. I was an old school Windower macro user.
I got the skillup.lua running, the SMN script started, but my character rests after about a second into casting and repeats this action for every cast. I'm guessing there is a setting I have to change. Any help?
Awesome thanks.
Does it matter that I'm not 99? Looking through it doesn't seem like it. I see coding for max MP, but no specific numerals for MP.
EDIT: Not sure what happened but it is working at the moment. I started using my own macros to skill up and the script started using abilities while I was doing so. I then started the SMN script again and it's working.
EDIT2: When it gets back to Carbuncle it does not Release.
75. Wanted to get to skill cap before it becomes even worse. Was only 100....
EDIT: It seems to be when the script uses Avatar's Favor. Carbuncle gets summoned, Avatar's Favor gets an error in chat log (not windower console), and then release doesn't happen. As soon as I hit release myself the next avatar is summoned.
try the one i just posted at the same location
if you put this in to the windower console
console_log 1
it will out put to a file called console.log in the windower main directory
i just changed a small part of the code download and try again
also if any thing other then ffxi is running it can cause issues with skillup
Same error. Copy/Pasted it new from bottom of page and download both tried.
Put a then on line 627 at the end, get a new error.10:02:59 > gs l skillup.lua
10:02:59 > User file problem: C:\Program Files (x86)\Windower4\/addons/gearswap/data/skillup.lua:628: 'then' expected near 'if'

10:04:52 > console_log 1
EDIT: Replaced 638 to read as:10:09:26 > User file problem: C:\Program Files (x86)\Windower4\/addons/gearswap/data/skillup.lua:638: '=' expected near '+'
10:09:29 > console_log 1
instead of:nincantcount = +1
It now loads fine, but it rests repeatedly again. Trying to get it back to what it was doing before.nincantcount +1
EDIT2: So far it is working again, but got this error.

this error happens if you keep reloading gearswap

reload luacore helps
if not windower needs to be restarted
