yea nah, one of Chael's carotid arteries was just against Tito's chest + Tito's elbow instep was over the chin not crushing the trachea, p much no way that hold was cutting off enough blood or oxygen to nap Chael. neck cranks are crazy uncomfortable and can make your face go tomato but Aiden's right it wasn't some secret choke it was just a crush

I'm definitely the camp that thinks the fight was fixed, tho maybe only Chael was in on it (ie betting on the 12.5 to 1 odds of Tito winning by sub).

While tapping out to that neck crank was totally valid, how he got to that point was screwy. He didn't even try to defend the choke until after Tito had a good 5 seconds to get it set, and even getting to that point was just some sloppy shit for a professional fighter.

Or maybe we just buy that he hadn't fought for 3 years and can't juice anymore, idk
