Snowing. Barely sticking to the road, and looks like it's slowing down, but woke up to white roofs and dusting in the yard.
This morning I played snowblower chicken with the driveway. About 1/3 into shoveling i gave up and busted her out.
We are sitting in the mid to high 70's this whole week and sunny. Luckily it is cooling down to the mid 50's at night so it won't be too hard to sleep. I hate to enjoy the weather when it is like this because we really need rain but it is nice out.
Oof. 70s here in central NC today and tomorrow.
oh good, the twin cities are right in the worst of it
Snow began here as well as a winter storm watch until midnight. So glad I took this week off.
Got over 8 inches in my area. Over by my dad's in south Minneapolis, he got over a foot.
yeah im about 60ish miles NW (in evansville indiana) from where most of KY got hit, they got fucking wrecked.
At least 70 dead
According to the weather I got hit with 9-10 inches which sounds about right. Only positive I can say is the 4WD on my car isn't shit after driving in that crap.
I was watching the Weather Channel and they were at this one town that it hit. It doesn't EXIST anymore. Brick structures that were leveled, steel beams rapped around trees like twist ties. It's unreal.
Edit: Oh, and I heard a reporter say one of the dumbest things I have ever heard on live TV: "We know there are people that have been dead."
I know it was just a flub because he was trying to think of things to say but it sounded so bad. ^^;

I wasn't worried until yesterday afternoon. Thursday night showed it passing over me around 2AM Saturday, and the stormfront got here at 11PM Friday. The actual cold front got here around 4AM Saturday.
Makes me real nervous since the temp is expected to go back up to the 70's during the coming week. Wednesday onward looks fucking WILD right now.
