Yes, but the nastiness of the last one was the winds, this one and the next one coming is pure rain. Although the rain falling sideways was quite a site to see from the last big storm.

phew. the complete lack of wind and the tree cover by my windows means my apartment was safe. I dodged a bullet on this one; that was a LOT of rain. it didn't let up until after I went to bed at 2 AM.

Fucking hell, why can't that storm just head a bit up north to where I am? Forecasters here have been calling for rain/thundershowers for a couple days now buts its only been ridiculously humid and sunny, my least favourite weather combo.

Randomly, I hate the weather system in Japan. At least the weather forcast is sort of correct in America, Japan's is like guessing by the minute, so looking ahead even in the morning 30min before going out is useless.

Went out to comiket's final day, weather forcast says it will be cloudy all day, with a chance of rain 50% by noon. I was like meh, I'll just stay inside and the cosplayers move inside too if it does. Head to comiket at 5am.. cloudy, by 10am when it opens the suns out, and by noon, not a single cloud in the sky, blazing hot as a mofo.

Been rather nice in most the northbay (unless you go to Lake county than fires galore or maybe more inland.). Like so far in my town we've only had about a dozen days in the 90s and those were mostly spread out and none in the 100s all summer. Majority of days have been high 70s low 80s. Kind of weird I can't remember another summer living here with no 100s
