I'm in central NY, supposedly gonna get about 10 inches between now and Saturday. I got plenty of time off, so I took a snow day today, probably take one tomorrow too.

Snow day hahahah you're funny
8-12 expected today while I sleep before going back to work in 11 hours. Oh, and 30mph winds with gusts over 50 woo
Idk what is going on in Wisconsin but planning to be in the low to mid 40s for the next week or so... They don't make winters like they used to.
didnt you get the memo? global warming is fake, the northeast had a cold spell of a week
Woohoo finally getting warm so the 18" of snow might actually melt.
Flash floods ah yeah
Freezing rain and snow again today in NY. Not much, if any, accumulation thankfully.
Non stop rain and wind in the East Bay Area in California, it’s been a pain in the ass to keep my lobby at work clean too. It’s been raining in some form since 4am here.
Mid 30s here. Though that is temporary and going to fall into teens/single digits starting Thursday

5 dead in waist-deep mudslides in California hitting the same area as the Thomas Fire.
It has dropped over 20 degrees in MN in less than 8 hours.
weather advisory in place. all last night it was drizzling, then overnight the temp drop hit and it shifted to a steady snowfall, already got a solid 2 inches on the ground with a nasty layer of ice underneath. gf saw a big rig tip over into the ditch on her way to work. fun times all around. good thing i got us both new tires before i got sick.
It was -3 degrees this day last week. Today, high of 67, low of 60. Central NC is fucking weird.
Also, we usually have a 30 degree swing between highs and lows every day. Sometimes 40-45.

diurnal temperature variation is generally greatest in high desert areas and lowest in low-lying, humid areas, so boasting about it in NC or MN is amusing
Yeah we were in the negatives over the weekend iirc. It's 55 now. It's being reported it will be 19 on Saturday. Typical week in January for South Michigan.
