I can't wait until the first snow. It's one of my favorite days of the year.
I got about an inch a week ago, but it was melting by the time I left my house at 6:45 am. That does not count.
This is a dumb question.
On The Weather Channel's forecasts (weather.com) they are showing snow Sunday during the day with an accumulation of 3 to 5 inches, and then overnight it says accumulation 3 to 5 inches. Are these separate predicted totals or just totals for the whole day.
I guess I'll find out Sunday, and I'm not sure if my brain just isn't functioning properly, but it's throwing me for a loop right now.
It was 60 today in CT. Wtf...
I got about 2 feet just south of Denver. Good times!
Snow didn't arrive until a couple hours ago. I just stepped outside and, in my neighborhood at least, we are getting roughly an inch an hour.

I'm in the west coast "cyclone" area from 6souls' image above. Our house in Tahoe got like 25 inches of snow and SF was like a typhoon last night; insane rain/wind.

Heavy rain with thunderstorms with temps in the 60's here tonight. It never used to do this around here in the winter even when I was a kid. >.>
