It will probably be aesthetically similar at best; you can see the entrance now a little west of Camp Tranquil. Has a bunch of ghosts around it.

Nah, 4 walls coming to a central location. Doing enough damage to one pushes it back, but the opposite forward. They randomly go immune to damage, spawn bees, and if any hit the middle, game over!

I think that Yoshi said that they want to add 1 new dungeon and 2 HM's with each patch.

In 2.1 we got one dungeon for each city-state area (Pharos for Limsa, Copperbell for Ul'dah and Haukke for Gridania) but it could be a coincidence. I'm also glad we're getting more Hildibrand, hopefully it leads to a cool battle but we may have to wait for that.

It pretty much states it's a new dungeon. Amdapors seem to have a decent importance for the story so they will probably be using this theme quite a lot.

We've seen the Keep, now it's a walk in the ruined city-state.

They aren't reusing Amdapor Keep, the ruins have been there since launch near Camp Tranquil. It's a different location and I'm honestly interested in the lore although I'm not expecting much out of it. Hopefully they'll prove me wrong and go into details like with WP (even if that's mainly from SCH's questline).

also you're all retarded. Amdapor is an entire city who warred with Nym (and misused White Magic) whom the Elementals kept their very existence hidden from mortals until they lost control of the Shroud following the Calamity (or something, the 7UE revealed it to us but they never explain why)

I can only hope this dungeon is more about the Amdapori and not just "oh man some Lambs of Dalamud took over these ruins look at all the voidsent"

This is just blind speculation but maybe in 2.3 we might see one of these useless unused-yet-marked-on-map locations like The Garlok's Lair west of Costa del Sol, or one of the not-visted Castrums (probably better suited for something main story related) used as a new dungeon.

Also with Ruins added South Shroud will have 3 dungeons in one zone, tied with Coerthas.

And we'll likely see new zones added too in 2.3 or maybe even in 2.2 (or some expansion of the current ones). Shiva still does not have a proper location and there's no stronghold for her beastmen tribe. If she's set to appear in a couple patches they'll have to add those in. Also worth pointing out that the Amdapori survived (alongside Nym I believe) their Umbral Era and ice was involved, maybe Shiva was too?
