It just sounded like the prayer to St. Jude in Latin, or at least part of it. If he had much Catholic background, it would probably have come up at some point. Given that that's whose on the pendent, lost cause and all that, it doesn't seem too great a stretch.

I was wondering if maybe it was recited for him as well at some point. I mean, we all assume he is a werewolf, maybe there was a point where he was thought to be possessed by something as well?

Agreed. The last scene was fairly odd too, but it gave a nice suspenseful hanger to keep us interested.

I'm also digging the fact that they identified Hartnett as a werewolf already, as well as bringing back his "massacre" for the first scenes in the premier. I wanted more of his story last season and I think we'll get it this time around.

Felt the same way, and she seems like a pretty cool villain. And the whole thing with the Frankenstein monster and the blind chick doing a Man Who Laughs storyline that is my namesake. I hope they don't run out of quasi Victorian era ghost stories to crib from.
