Atlus Announced A Persona Special Stage For Tokyo Game Show 2015

Atlus announced that they’ll have a “Persona Special Stage” event at this year’s Tokyo Game Show on September 19th from 2:30pm to 3:30pm JST.

The stage event will feature some popular talents behind the Persona series like vocalist Yumi Kawamura, Lotus Juice, Shihoko Hirata, DJ WAKA and many others, who’ll be there to perform live music.

Additionally, there will be a live talk show featuring Persona Stalker Club’s hosts Mafia Kajita and Tomomi Isomura. More details for the event will be announced in the near future.

Atlus haven’t shared any details on whether we’ll get a new trailer or release date for Persona 5 at Tokyo Game Show, but seeing that they’re going to have this special event for the occasion, there’s a good chance that we may get something new.

Sucks about the delay, still hyped as shit by the trailer. Only small complaint, the trailer made the game look pixelated... hoping it's either the video's fault or something that will be improved.

Atlus is a joke compared to a decade ago. They released SMT3, DDS1-2, RAIDOU, and fuckin p3 in 3 year range. Maybe if they worked on less faggotry like the dancing game no one asked for or fighting games, we would actually get another game, that's not just Persona.

Fuck Atlus, they had the Catherine engine and the ps3s entire lifespan to make something and they failed. Now they want the fan base to circle jerk and praise and play p4 for the 300th ng+ (people actually do this, very sad people)

Get ready for 10 years of milking p5. P6 est: 2026

For Japan, by Japan. Just because you like the series doesn't mean it was made for you. Japan loves those "faggotry" dancing games, and even a guy like me who also hates them can understand that.

They need to release a line of clothing and wear it whenever a non-Japanese gets upset about their Japan-centric choices. This doesn't mean I disagree with you, but I can see the big picture, annoying as that picture may be.

^ I gotta agree with Chari: you mean nothing but hopefully a source of dollar signs to them. Another loud Westerner who doesn't understand them, blah blah ect. ect.

In a world where money talks, success equals more games and failure by its own Japanese audience just means they'll stop making them, even if the "Western" audience propped the game up in sales.

But that's all doom and gloom talk. This game looks good. It'll sell well and be good. If you wanna QQ about things being delayed sucking so much, take a look over at us Tactics Ogre/Ogre Battle fans. We don't even get a new game ever.

While they've milked Persona, they've also released Devil Survivor 1 and 2 (very solid games -- 2 has some of the most HILARIOUS dialogue ever), Strange Journey (not my cup of tea, but others have liked it), SMT IV, as well as the Etrian games.

Trust me, I'd love to see another Raidou game, but like Lucavi, I also see the big picture here; if those milked titles sell, then maybe we get more of the other stuff.
