Not sure if I want a Big Head and Richard team up. Big Head keeps failing his way to more and more success and Richard keeps getting hit with setback after setback. I'm not ready for either of those things to change
I always feel like I'm being constantly punched in the dick while watching this show, but I have come to the realization that it's actually just one never ending punch to the dick.
I couldnt believe Richard took the skunk work plans to work but this is what drives the show.
lmfao at Jared's chain joke at the end. Richard's "what the fuck?" was so sincere
I agree with most here, i hate/love the show..... i am sad they got caught so quickly, because I was thinking of how many jokes they could do with them trying to hide it all season....
I love this show way too much.
Jared has been killing it this season, but goddamn he was fire in this episode.
"It's a 2001 casino heist film starring Julia Roberts", pouring the liqour back into the bottle, Django, Cypress Halal, and then that giant one at the end.
This season has been hilarious (Not to say the last haven't, but holy shit)
You guys are entirely missing the point that everything in this episode is their Meinertzhagen's Haversack; they purposely leaked Skunkworks to Carla and brought the plans to work so they would be seen. That folder is literally his haversack and is the perfect cover for them to actually work on their platform.
Holy fuck. You just blew my mind.
Fucking love this show! Any of you watching it in IT or working for any of the IT Multinationals? Fucking show is on point haha!
I think like half of BG is in IT so most likely.
I have worked at an MNC and had to do database work with IT so I've scratched the surface of this.
The main characters aren't really accurate representations of engineers (for obvious reasons, it's more entertaining with them all being so awkward), but almost everything else in the show is a pretty accurate rendition of the area and how those businesses work.
There's obviously some theatrical flair to the whole proceedings, but in general it's very close to how life in Palo Alto is.
wait wut. so you're saying what Richard dropped (and leaked to Carla) isn't what they are actually trying to make? how would leaking one thing that they aren't supposed to make, make it easier to create another thing that they aren't supposed to make?
I might be misunderstanding what a Meinertzhagen's Haversack is - based on a wiki blurb it's an intentional "leak" of some sort of fake plans
It would throw the CEO off the scent of their actual plan to do it by prematurely "exposing" it. That's brilliant.
