I saw Force Awakens like half a dozen times. All those billions at the box office were down to fanboy schmucks like me.

For those who have seen it already this is a really good video if you have the time. I don't think I would have realized any of this stuff even if I had watched the movie a dozen times.

    Spoiler: show

    Spoiler: show
James Gunn confirmed on Twitter today that he and Marvel intentionally had Michael Rooker visit the set of Avengers: Infinity War so that when leaks happened, it would ensure genuine surprise from Yondu's death in GOTG2.

It was an okay movie, with a couple of really good scenes, but over-all, it didn't really satisfy. Yondu was the best thing going, and certainly surpassed his role in the first movie; everyone else fell short of how they were in the first movie, and I still found zero point in Mantis being there (her interactions with Drax were cringe-worthy), since they didn't explain why she was there, and out of nowhere , delays Ego at a critical point. Definitely the lowest point for the MCU, so far, but has enough important setups to watch for later movies.

Drax was the highlight of this movie. The interactions between him and Mantis were hilarious. And her being there was perfectly explained. I do agree that overall it wasn't as good as GoTG1 but it was by far no where near the lowest point of the MCU. It's still top few movies.

Lowest point in the MCU? This has to be a troll lol. And truth be told, GotG2 damn near had little to no setup whatsoever for later movies.

So....did you really watch this movie?

Are you saying Angsty teen Groot isn't the most important set up thus far in the MCU!?

That could only be true if
    Spoiler: show
Adam Warlock was going to play as big role in Infinity War as in the comics, but since Infinity War (part 1) is May 2018, the untitled (part 2) May 2019, and GotG 3 doesn't even have a date yet, this is pretty unlikely. The infinity war movies are jam-packed enough as it is with characters to try to add one that's just been teased. He'd need the setup from GotG 3 first imo.

so idk if it's been posted but in a cut scene on earth there were posters of Nathan Fillion as an actor by the name of Simon Williams, and Gunn said he considers the casting as canon. obviously it may never actually go anywhere, but I'll take it

If an actor only has one scene in a movie and that scene gets cut, does that effect their pay?
