I've escorted the Dep. SecDef to watch Deadpool 6 times. The guy is a huge movie nut lol.

For those who have seen it already this is a really good video if you have the time. I don't think I would have realized any of this stuff even if I had watched the movie a dozen times.

Super long but solid watch in that link above.
Watched it last night. Drax sole the whole fucking movie lol.

Now that's how you do it.
Gunn is so far ahead of the curve.
It was an okay movie, with a couple of really good scenes, but over-all, it didn't really satisfy. Yondu was the best thing going, and certainly surpassed his role in the first movie; everyone else fell short of how they were in the first movie, and I still found zero point in Mantis being there (her interactions with Drax were cringe-worthy), since they didn't explain why she was there, and out of nowhere , delays Ego at a critical point. Definitely the lowest point for the MCU, so far, but has enough important setups to watch for later movies.
the lowest point for the MCU? LOL
Drax was the highlight of this movie. The interactions between him and Mantis were hilarious. And her being there was perfectly explained. I do agree that overall it wasn't as good as GoTG1 but it was by far no where near the lowest point of the MCU. It's still top few movies.
And did they watch Iron Fist?
What is this the return of the Macross whoosh?

That could only be true ifSpoiler: show
so idk if it's been posted but in a cut scene on earth there were posters of Nathan Fillion as an actor by the name of Simon Williams, and Gunn said he considers the casting as canon. obviously it may never actually go anywhere, but I'll take it
If an actor only has one scene in a movie and that scene gets cut, does that effect their pay?
