So what brings this basketball game about? Well, Al G Rhythm is keeping Dom in the Server-verse in order to steal some of LeBron’s followers on social media. And apparently the only way to get Dom back and stop this AI villain is with a game of basketball.

I have the sudden, strong urge to light myself on fire.

Ok wait....so the Droogs Gang from A Clockwork Orange gets to make a cameo in the movie but people had a problem with Pepe Le Pew so he isn’t in the movie? Also this looks like they really are doing Ready Player One but with basketball.

My guess is that kids watching it won't really know who they are so their inclusion is more an easter egg for the adults whereas Pepe Le Pew would be more memorable with kids on the fact that he's a cartoon and would likely be on the team playing. Still seems like a big wtf since nothing about those dudes is kid friendly lol. Maybe some kid will grow up and take a gander at Kubrick's classics and reminisce, "ah those dudes from Space Jam 2!"

This will be like King Kong v Godzilla Tier. Not all that great but if you go into it wanting a turn your brain off movie will be enjoyable. And its free on HBOMAX so all you hating on it will still watch it since its free!
