I'd be surprised if they actually go through with killing Cap off in a definitive way here as Evans has already stated that he knows how long the filming process and what the plan is for Infinity War. He's going to end up in one of the two, most likely the second, even if Bucky does take on the mantle of Cap before it happens.

It's just straight up not possible. No New Warriors to kick things off, and there's ton of key characters that haven't been introduced or can't show up in a MCU movie (Fantastic Four probably being the biggest absence)

They also got back Ghost Rider and Blade in the same swoop.

Thats what makes me think he's not dying. Being in the second one with some time mumbo jumbo could make it possible to bring him back from the dead but in both? He's probably just taking his lumps.

could do the whole "Bring people who died back from the dead to help" at the end of part one, and spend the entirety of part two being the fight against Thanos, would still count as an appearance even if he's only in it for like, 2 minutes right?

I actually love how they went toe-to-toe in Avengers and nobody noticed that Tony only gained the upper hand when more of his suit arrived.

Anyone else notice how he could still call individual pieces of his suit like in IM3? Yea. Cap doesn't really stand a chance.

In reference to the calling of parts, my buddy pointed out that he could have gotten the concept of it back in Avengers 1 and simply just refined it over the course of MCU. Considering how he controlled the Hulkbuster set, unless Cap pulls a Fla. . . Quicksilver on him, he's gonna get his dick kicked in.

He never said that. If you watch a recent interview, he said he's waiting for Marvel to knock as he loves doing it.

He claimed last year that when he done with Marvel he was interested in retiring from acting to direct. Some took it as when he was done with his six, but Evans didn't specify. I don't think I saw the interview that Kuro is referencing.
