Despite some other stress going on in Fail. I did just get a promotion at work which is giving me 5 bucks an hour raise. Have to do 70 hours of training, 30 of which is unpaid but going from 13 an hour to 18 an hour is pretty nice. I'm hoping the site I'm at will be easier on me then some of the ones I've been at.

The interview from the site manager or whatever was fine with me working Casual/Part time. My scheduling lady is being a super cunt about it. I've been trying to not use my health as an excuse for why I only want to work 1-3 days a week. I've just been saying "I don't want to overload myself" which just gets me attitude.

Last night for date night the gf suggested to go to the casino in Baltimore before dinner to have some fun. So we both decide to bring $80 so we don't lose too much. We play a couple table games and lose a little and she says she wants to do penny slots. We go to the section, I sit down at one and put my money in. First roll a bunch of gold coins pop over the screen and I have no idea what's going on. End up winning 160 free spins. As they spin through, it's winning money and additional free spins. You're not wrong. I had sat there for about a hour and a half before it was all done spinning. I didn't mind the wait considering money kept rising for me, and I made all that cash off a 30 cent spin. The gf was actually a little annoyed with me because she sat down next to me on a similar game and played to keep herself busy and lost the remaining money she had while I kept winning more and more. Casinos have a large base in poorer communities. There is one near my in-law's farm house along the Southern Tier in NY, Tioga Downs. Where the area is generally poor since IBM moved their operation from the area, the casino is constantly expanding. Shows how much people spend in this place despite not having the finances to actually do so.
