Been a rollercoaster of a week with just really negative things happening that brought me down.

Started turning it around today.

Paid T-mo in advance with my firstborn, got the replacement phone on the way, made enough at work to say it was worth it, went and had a house key made for my mother and I, then to YMCA to be put on mom's plan and exercised a tad, and finally - finally, cleaned out the computer, shoved everything back in and I am running on two monitors and one TV. I am really stressing about the distance I'll be driving by staying at home, but I will unpack soon and make it official. It's going to save me a LOT of money.


I was really mentally fighting living at home. It's just a long distance and I don't especially like driving already. I'm still not... 100% in acceptance of it but getting there.

It's only 30 minutes each way. But not something I'm used to. I also have an extremely bad track record on this particular road from being a dumb teen and stuff.

I just don't LIKE driving. Motorcycle's better but I'm working without lane-splitting laws. Which is a fucken travesty.

But sure, no law in FL for helmets. Idiots riding no helmet, jacket, t shirt, shorts and flipflops. Ridiculous!

This! Most people I work with just to live are doing daily commutes of 1.5 - 2 hours each way. I'm grateful to live in an area with great accessibility to public transit though.

edit: but yes, I know it's not 'that bad' and why I'm really trying to not let it get to me. You drive an hour one way, CS bikes 2 hours anywhere, and a kid's starving in Africa. I'm still gon' bitch about my 30 minutes of pure angry hell.
