Only been at my new job about 2 months and my only other direct co worker had to take off a few days. My boss is remote so she checks in here and now but the win is the place hasn't imploded and I'm actually on top of everything. Feels pretty good.

There are some telltale major signs that you got a good roommate (like paying bills on time), and other minor signs that you got a good roommate. For example, he is up earlier in the morning than I am. When I shambled in to the kitchen this morning, I found the microwave left with :01 left on the clock. He stopped it early so the alarm wouldn't go off and wake me up. My man.
All my fake money cryptocoins have quadrupled the last 2 days, we 1% now boys.
In other news I tried halo top icecream for first time last night, I don't get the praise. Is it the coke zero of ice cream but without the abysmal taste?
Wife convinced me to go to the new hibachi/sushi buffet in town. Only $11 per adult and the sushi was actually pretty decent. Mostly had the eel roll, salmon nigiri, and california tempura. Was very pleased overall. Since we have literally one place in town that serves sushi besides this buffet, this is a pleasant surprise.
There's supposedly an awesome all you can eat sushi place in San Jose my old coworkers use to rave about. Our regular place is amazing so I'm always scared to venture out but fuck that's a deal.
The win:
I was always an extremely picky eater. I hated it, honestly. I was that annoying person that only wanted pepperoni on pizza and nothing else. Hard to find places to eat because I only ate certain things. I really didn't want to be that way but found the taste to tons of foods to be so nasty.
In the past five years or so, however, my tastebuds switched and I am able to eat a ton of food I never would eat before. When I go to Blaze Pizza (has unlimited toppings) I load the crap out of that shit with things like Spinach which I used to hate. There are still a few things I still can't handle (tomatoes and onions, but I think that's a texture thing as I enjoy like tomato sauce and onion powder), but I am really enjoying a lot of foods I didn't before.
The fail:
This is a sign of aging and that my tastebuds are slowly disappearing.
Blaze Pizza's White Top made me appreciate arugula as a topping.
That sounds amazing, hope they still have it when we return next year.
Up 3600 atm in Hold'em at MGM national harbor
I think that's how much I lost in my first hour at the MGM, however many years ago.
When I'm up $200 I'm ready to bounce. I can't even fathom being up $3600. I'm assuming at least $20/$40 stakes?
Probably more like 2/5 unless he wants to lose his bankroll. I remember losing my 15k, good times.
Most money I've ever had on the table to start with was $400. Most I was ever up was around $1500 and that was only because my table was part of a bad beat jackpot. Worth mentioning I'm a very conservative poker player. Probably why I rarely make it past round 3 of tournaments (which I haven't played in over 3 years).
KFC just released a spicy chicken sandwich called The Zinger. I had one for lunch today and I actually think it's better than Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich.
