maybe your son will grow and have the balls to finally punch your brother in law
All jokes aside, being years ahead of your peers in the early school years, from experience this is a really good way to turn into an object of scorn and a social outcast, especially if the "academic intelligence" is years ahead of the "emotional intelligence", and children at that age are still learning the playing rules. Being smarter than almost everyone else at that age and knowing it can really create some problems if you do not know how to deal with it (I didn't and paid a pretty heavy price).
Not a win for me personally but hopefully a win for the victims. In my town on the 4th a group of five (ages 10-13) stole fireworks from Target and threw them into a car that had their windows down. The car caught fire and spread to the vehicle next to it totaling both. The victims were workers for Potbelly. One a 16 year old student and the second was a single mother of two. Neither had comprehensive coverage. Today, the kids have been identified. I'm hoping for the victims they somehow receive restitution.
trying to stop taking on shit that isn't my shit. people are idiots and will place their idiocy upon you at any given moment if you allow them to do so, especially in the corporate world.
for example.
I sent an email to a lady about an issue. she sends me an instant message asking the same question I already answered. instead of getting frustrated or annoyed or restating myself, I simply said "I sent an email earlier - my team lead will take a look when he gets in."
simple, effective, no nonsense. I like it.
Let my travel agent convince me into upgrading my resort stay at Disney for my birthday this year. Gonna be about $600 more total than I was planning on spending, but fuck it, it's my birthday and you only get so many of those on this planet Earth, might as well enjoy it.
bruh why you using a travel agent in 2017
I should clarify; Disney travel agent, not a regular one. They book the room for you and get you discounts and dining reservations and stuff that you can't get on your own. They also don't get paid by me, they get a commission instead from Disney after my trip.
whatever caveman
It's so much better to do it on your own unless you're absolutely incapable of planning anything on your own. Actually they have no other special access to dining reservations than everyone else does they just try to do it for you, and if you need to change anything you have to go through them which is a pita. Unless you've got a huge family to manage its so much better on your own.
Mom has no idea I'm about to walk through the doorstep tomorrow afternoon 2 days before my birthday. Think she's gonna have a heart attack.

In b4 the usual jokes
Brought it up before, but stopped procrastinating and scheduled my vasectomy last week. I've heard some horror stories about it being difficult to find a doctor willing to do it at my age and no kids, but passed the phone interview w/ flying colors.
I go in next month for the snip
Anxious to hear how it goes. I want mine done ASAP. No leeches for me.
Anoat cancel your vacation and let BG plan your birthday party
