yeah but my parents are paying for this one. I mean like as a more common thing that I do.
We're having our company Christmas dinner tonight.
Gonna be fucking boss mode.
smh, it's like you all don't bulk on ortalon buntings on the daily.
I forego furniture and christmas trees living in a house devoid of love just so I can gorge myself eternally.
Sick reference. I'd eat em, given the opportunity.
I walked downtown to the bank, then to the bakery, then to the dollar store, then back to the bakery, then back across town to the gas station, then back to the bank again, then home. None of these things is on the way to the other, so I walked maybe 20 or 30 blocks? anyway I was walking for most of the last few hours. it's freezing out but I bundled up and by the time I got home was unbundling cos I was overheating lol. anyway chillin with a mug of hot chocolate and breakfast sandwiches and baked goods.
feels fuckin good to be healthy man
Fuck yeah dude.
I'm jealous.
A little late to the convo but our most expensive meal for 2 was definitely Epicure. Think we went over 700 just for lunch. No bottles of wine either only glasses.
Totally worth it though surprisingly.
I don't think the wife and I have gone above 400 or 500 on our own.
Got to go home early cause feeling sick fuck yeah. Get home and notice I left my wallet at work (shit don't even remember taking it out of my backpack guess was kind of out of it)... really didn't want to ride back to work and back home again in the rain but also didn't want to go all weekend without money or cards. Still got shopping to do and low on food. Looking at my mail as I was trying to decide what to do... seems my bank is upgrading to those cards with chips and sent me one to switch to. Forgetfulness rewarded
In retrospect, it was probably a bad idea to go on the very first day. And I was one of the lucky ones who got there early enough to avoid traffic and the masses. The place reached maximum occupancy by 8PM, so there were countless people having to wait outside for god knows how long to get in. Besides the occasional drunken asshole, the locals were more or less just excited to be there with little drama. There was a small altercation that drew like a dozen security guards two black jack tables down from mine. Apparently some idiot hit on a hard 17 that a drew a bust card for the dealer. I only played around two shoes of black jack at $25 min, I want to say the max was 2k. Didn't mess with craps. My focus was more or less on NLHE.
Having said all that, I'm off tomorrow and I'm strongly debating heading back tonight a little late to avoid too many people lol.
Hurray insurance company was nice. They have it so changes only take effect at the first of the month but they were willing to backdate it to the first of this month. Even better new Doc is only about 1.2 miles from. Would be less than half that if the stupid train company hadn't fenced up the crossing. So yay not gunna die
It's fucking terrible. It's more packed today than it was yesterday. You can't get shit to eat, and all poker games are at minimum hour wait. I'm leaving and heading to Maryland live. I'll wait til the novelty of the place wears off from the locals before I start coming here routinely.
I've done nothing but sit on the couch and watch Season 1 - 3 of Brooklyn 99 all weekend.
Managed to get into Taps (Now TGPS) and start my civilian select process. best part is decommissioning work is ramping up so I'm avoiding that work like a damn plague.
Also getting out of a 2hr CO training that was supposed to happen after shift this week.
