Resisted buying any junk on the shopping trip.
Healthy breakfast/snack shit gooooooooooooooo
Not too bad for $30, either!
i recommend the unsweetened almond milk, unless you're gonna just drink it plain. but if youre doing cereal or something, your cereal should have plenty of sugars to make it enjoyable, and if not, you can always add some.
the sweetened stuff always seems too strong for me.
I can resist buying junk no problem when I'm on a full stomach, but I was starving and without dinner at like 10pm. D: Which was a bad idea to begin with, but success!
First time trying almond milk (and oatmeal, for that matter)... actually is pretty good. I'll try the unsweetened milk next time.
Started a new diet and workout regiment to get fit. Basically a low carb, no sugar plan that has paid off quite well. Went from (5'8) 179 down to 158 in about 4 weeks - now it's starting to go up a little with more muscle mass. Haven't been this thin since I was in HS...and now I can finally feel better about saving my old jeans that my waist outgrew.
Had to supplement Almond Milk for regular milk and it's not bad once you get used to it - much thicker and a stronger taste. But hey it lasts longer than 2 weeks lol.
I will never give up milk.
was waiting for this, took too long
you think youre cool with you "im as thin as i was in high school!"
i have clothes that i've been wearing periodically for 10 years, and some of them are too big for me now. I'm 26. Suck it!
my hair is longer than it was in high school, too. I AM IN MY PRIME.
bane with a mane brawling wildly at both ends of the human..? wut, no
I have a 75/25 win/fail. So I had some new state license testing all day yesterday; 4 hours of testing later, I am 1 correct answer short on one section from passing all 4. Passed 3 exams, got 34/50 on another needing 70%. So of course I get to pay the entire registration fee again to remedy the situation with a quick retest on Tuesday.
I tore up the 2 law exams though, failed the Health products. I'll blame Obamacare and my stupid.
Because if there is one thing the world needs it is more lawyers...
I will sell Life and Health products, but close? You just have to know federal and state life law and health law. Those tests were less bullshit.
More winning, got 70 in RoS, killed Malthael, unlocked Adventure Mode, and laughed at archi's big white man dancing.
Got a new computer at work, and I was pleased to find that Firefox is now supported as a browser for most of my work functions. Good thing, because I am completely done with IE.
Got my Security+ to go with Network+, next on the list is CCNA, CEH, some java/random certs and then CISSP.
I bought dat unsweetened almond milk you guys're all gushing about, dumped it on some cereal, and holy yum. I was always kinda curious about some of those Silk products but just pulled the trigger on some. Fuck people who give me shit cause I'm not pinching petty dollar amounts at the grocery store. I just won with almond milk
Far worse things to spend extra/too much money on than good food.
That's what I fumble with communicating in-person to certain peoples / situations. Like this lady who I'm nice to regarding neighborly chat: she knows I switched jobs/careers stuffs and she's all trying to keep me in-the-know and give heads-up on Burger King coupons or something.. :/
I'm like thanks, I'm okay.
I tried to say 2-for-1 chicken sandwiches aren't on my temporary unemployment path. Whereas she knows how to get by with it, and it's cool for her and all. But nothx.
Nevermind having to justify Safeway, sheesh. I buy for 1 human, I'd rather chill through 0 stoplights and 3 stop signs down to the nearby Safeway than fumble across some I-25 exchange shit to a King Soopers for coupons and 50 cents cheaper gross cheese or something. Man, I get some dank cheese at this Safeway - good, sliced Tillamook options.
So I win cause Safeway. And better, albeit more expensive groceries. And cause Happy Canyon Road's 3 stop signs.
