I found an amazing job opening at Mayo Clinic doing something I think I would find interesting and reasonably fulfilling, with qualifications i actually meet. And dem benefits.

I just submitted my application. First job application in ~7 years. Am nervous, but I think I wrote a pretty good cover letter. Not much I can do to beef up my resume, but I threw my Lego volunteering at it. Fuck it, can't hurt.

I wanted a six week engagement, got a 14 week engagement in order to coordinate everyone's schedules. Was way too long for my taste.

I never had a big wedding when I got married but I can't imagine it's any fun at all to try to plan an entire wedding in such a short period of time. Don't most places book out months or even a year in advance?

I think it's better to post it here, even if I am sad. But according to the doctors, my Grandma is gonna die this week.

I am kinda happy in a sense, because she has Alzheimer since 2001 ish, and in the last years it's been worse, she doesn't recognize anyone and is a different person. So i am happy for her that she will be liberated of that, and of course for my mom and her Brother + sisters, that suffers alot in this.

But of course I am sad, since she is my last grandparent, and death is never fun.

So I am torn between the 2, but yeah

Wife and I just had our physicals done for our life insurance, the better we score the better tier we get in and lower the monthly payment.

Her blood pressure was 106/72 heartrate 64 and mine was 112/66 heartrate 60. Boom. Hopefully my insulin isn't too low considering I've been on a cut and haven't had many carbs lately.
