Blue Cloud Coral is worth 20k an hour. Pretty sure its for a Leve quest. But my fishing retainers is my most profitable per hour.

It's for grade 1 mind dissolvents which are in turn for all mnd gear lv 54+ including certain crafting red scrip turn-ins.

Well yeah. I was thinking more along the lines of something that's really painful/annoying to farm yourself. Blue coral isn't too bad to fish, but I guess it doesn't come with any other useful fish from that spot. So many useless fish.

I've gotten some pretty rare items from quick ventures, including glowy augmented wolfram HQ stuff. Has anyone gotten any gear from WoD or CT?

Good news: I switched my retainer from LV60 archer to machinist (costs 20 ventures to switch to a job), and I did not have to level it back up from scratch; it was immediately LV60.

Its 40 ventures for the token, actually. But yeah, why would people think it´d reset their levels?

Yeah its just for the gearing. It also allows you to swap any retainer to DRK/MCH/AST though which could come in handy for some players.

Yeah I have an alt with 4 mrd retainers that ended up focusing more on AST, so it's a nice thing to have.

I was always under the impression that if I changed my retainer from ARC to, say, MRD, I would have to relevel from scratch. I changed my retainer from ARC to MCH (not BRD) and I did not.

If you were a SCH, you had no option to give your old gear to your ACN retainer; the closest workaround would have been to get your retainer to 60CNJ.

Additionally, I was a BRD main in 2.x but switched to MCH in 3.0; in order to send my ARC retainer on higher-level ventures, I had to separately level my BRD (a job I don't want to use anymore) to 60, because switching my retainer to MCH was unavailable.

Also if you wanted a MCH/DRK/AST retainer, they'd have to at least start at lv 30 anyways; there's no weapons for them under that.

So I think I've hit rock bottom for useless quick venture returns. I'd have rather gotten a shard.
