Retainer Compendium -- My Retainer out-dps' pugs

Has anyone's retainer brought back a piece of gear that could not, at a later level, be worn by that retainer's current class? I believe the person whose retainer brought back the Brayflox PGL ring was assigned to PGL, and no one's asked about the retainers' class for the rest of the gear (PvP gear, mogblade, etc.). If they can only bring back gear applicable to their current class, then that would limit a lot of what is available to a DoL class. However, my MIN retainer hasn't brought back any gear (nor my ARC, for that matter), so I can't comment yet.

I have an Archer and they brought back Peltast Leggings, but those are DoW and not ARC/BRD only, so until it brings back something different I don't know.

I'm kinda skipping the quick exploration for now, I just want to level them up so I can get access to some various materials.

On a side note - Quick Exploration totally feels like the Gambling system in Diablo.

I did 4 level 20 ventures from last night to end of work today. All of them returned with 6 or 7 allagan bronze piece and 2-3 HQ of something related to their profession.

Seems to be a trend that the 18hr ones are going to award Allagan pieces. Maybe at level 50 you can get somewhere between 4-6 Gold Pieces. Would be a nice haul if you have a 9-5 job and wanna set them up overnight.

My botanist has returned with multiple housing items. My other one returned with some darklight stuff and then fish.

My miner one was the one bringing back BRD PvP rings if that helps the job/loot theory along at all.

My lancer constantly has been bringing back random trash (to be expected, he's a whore), my botanist has been bringing me housing furniture (flowerpot, bookshelf, and something else I can't remember.

Both were item level 1 for most of my quick searches.

Number of pieces seem to go down as rank goes up, so maybe they'll only award 1 or 2 gold pieces?
