Hopefully the reviews pick up. I'm still determined to see this Friday night after I get off work, but a bit skeptical given the trailers making this feel like they pulled a QoS.
Still waiting for it to come out, gotta live off this
Thought it was kinda ho-hum. Also, I don't know who did the opening song, but it was garbage.
forgot this opened this weekend, thought it was next week end. will see it for $7 at 10 am. Got a lot of stuff going on this weekend, black ops 3 wants to be played as well.
Good not great. Has some fantastic cinematography and scenes, plot is pretty weak though.
Just got back from it. Overall not bad. Not close to being as good as Royale/Skyfall, but still a lot better than QoS. But Krandor and Delirium are right. The opening song is and plot are pretty meh, but it does have some good action sequences.
One thing I still don't get though...
Spoiler: show
This is so bad, slow as hell and a villain that you can't care one whit about. I didn't fall asleep but I came close many many times.
Spoiler: show
I agree with the "meh" reviews. Bautista's role was dull, one line in film. No significance. Plot was ok, just poorly dramatized. Spent more time chasing stuff around just to find the villain. Sam Smith actually did a good job with the song, not a big fan of Smith. I would say the song didnt seem to fit the theme of the movie too much, but the movie didnt seem to have a theme anyway, so meh.
I'll have to go Skyfall > Casino > QoS & Spectre
I honestly really enjoyed it from start to finish. It really reminded me of the old school Bonds with Sean Connery specifically when...However I agree with the order of films greatness so far. But I would put this one above QoS.Spoiler: show
Casino Royale was a good film. It was not a good Bond film.
I saw it and liked it, action scenes were amazing. Plot was weak and you don't even learn anyone's motives til almost 2 hrs in. No thoughts on song. It is what it is.

There is absolutely no universe where Diamonds are Forever and Quantum of Solace are better than Spectre. I also think it's fucking absurd that Skyfall is the top rated Bond film; it is literally the first Mission Impossible and Home Alone retold in a Bond movie.
I thought it was good but not great. The entire movie felt like an homage to the previous films. So many scenes were either thematically or designed in a way to imitate previous flicks. I really think they cast Lea Sydoux because she has a similar face to Diana Rigg.
As much as I hated listening to the theme when it came out, it actually sounded good at the IMAX theatre during the credits. Regardless, I still don't like it.
Enjoyed it for being a Bond film. The plots are usually never anything to write home about in these movies, so I disregard most of that. The action scenes and style is what draws me and this one had both in good fashion.
I don't think he even had that many lol. He said "shit" during the train scene and that was it.
Movie was fun, I saw it last night. Seemed like a throwback to the older ones which I liked about it. And the Sam Smith song was pretty good too, especially with the rad opening sequence. Christopher Waltz was solid, and his first appearance was great! Up until Bautista's entrance anyway lol
