Dead as fuck. Not only did Miller become infected by the protomolecule his body was flung into Venus on board a giant rock traveling at over 15g. He is 100% dead.

It was accelerating at well over 15g. Eros probably hit Venus at well over 200k mph. Books had Eros increasing acceleration gradually that the Roci cut off at around 5gs of acceleration and everyone was talking via typing because their lungs were being crushed by the constant g-forces. Everyone would have been paste at a constant 15g+ thrust, but dramatic show stuff, etc.

I too was amused how the show went way higher on the speed. Book was always "3g of hard burn will fuuuuuck you up!" and "5g will have your tongue sticking out your asshole" so 15g in the show? Handwave it all away with the drug cocktail and crash couches being the comfiest seat ever.

And 200k mph would mean it impacted at a speed over twice as fast as the Earth traveling through space. We still need the planet, yo.

Yet another good episode. It ended so well to start up Caliban's War material.

Looks like it's a fully portable production though. SyFy just licenses it. They'll probably continue.

I think if they actually went full Netflix they could stop a bit of the overdramatic commercial break buildup that they do. That's my main criticism of the show's flow.
