The best part of that is that they are getting their own season. I was worried they were going to share a split season with Inhumans.

I kind of hope Aida returns for next season

I don't remember much about Ghost Rider but
Sounds like it'd be much worse, cuz Robbie said he didn't envy him, so should be worse than what happens to Robbie....Spoiler: show
Welp AOS is being moved to the Friday night death slot next year, so RIP this show. Inhumans will premier this September for an 8 episode mini-series, wrappings in November. It's then expected AOS will resume in January.
Finale thoughts:

Well the thing is AOS hasn't been performing well. The ratings have been pretty terrible since the end of season one, despite the show improving from a narrative perspective. The fact that it got renewed for a season 5 at all was surprising to me.
It's being moved to Friday night to die. I'd expect a substantially reduced budget as well.
I thought Friday shows used to be hits. Like the whole TGIF line-up and shit. When did this change?Spoiler: show
Friday Night Death Slot has been around for a long time

I'm fine with it just being one more season if they know it is only going to be one more season and can end it properly.
should have deleted mack's daughter sooner so he would have lots of time to leave.
Well 5 seasons is a good run for any show. Not every show dies on Friday as Friday night also doesn't require as high of a viewership rating as Mon-Thursday does.
In positive news for the actors, airing four full seasons has gotten this show 88 episodes which is the requirement for syndication, another season will get it to the magical 100 episode number. I hope they signed a deal for residuals.
May return as early as November

Nick Blood was announced as returning to reprise the role of Lance Hunter. No sign of Mockingbird though.
