Universal has *distribution* rights to any Hulk solo film. But part of the reason we haven't gotten another Hulk solo is how badly both of the previous attempts did and that is in part due to how the Marvel directors think Hulk is hard to do in a solo film (Whedon went on record for this)

I could be wrong but this movie seems like the first time movie wise that they showed the Hulk was a totally different person in relationship to Bruce Banner. Where as before it felt like it was more played like the Hulk was an alter ego of sorts.

If they did a new solo movie, I think it would work better if it was focused on the 2 beings (Hulk and Banner) struggling to coexist, as opposed to what we’ve mostly seen so far which is Banner trying to suppress or fight against his Hulk “alter ego”

I would really like a movie where we see the two struggle to get along. Would definitely bring more of a human side to Hulk.

I thought with this movie, Marvel was tipping the hat to a famous Hulk storyline where he's like one of the only living people left. Banner has been the Hulk for years now and he has only memories of what it was like to be Banner. There is a lot of internal monologue etc. The movie touches briefly on the idea that for the first time in MCU Hulk has been in control for a long time, rather than Banner. Kinda cool, I liked it.

EDIT: Series was called The Incredible Hulk: Last Man on Earth.
