Rumor: Overwatch expected to be announced
Blizzard could be on the cusp of announcing a new game this year, if a LinkedIn profile is any indication.

Dug up by Internet sleuth Superannuation, the online resume states work is being done on a “top-secret project to be unveiled sometime in 2014.”

While this could be Blizzard’s Project Titan, it could be something else entirely as the firm filed a trademark for Overwatch last month as well as a lead producer job posting for “unannounced game title.”

Last thing we heard regarding Project Titan occurred in August 2013, when it was announced during a call to investors the game would “likely not” be a sub-based MMORPG as originally planned.

At the time, Blizzard boss Mike Morhaime said he would move some of Project Titan’s team members over to other titles in the interim while Project Titan was taken in a “new direction.”

He also said the project had yet to be “officially announced” and it was without a “projected release date.”

Morhaime emphasized the team had gone through this “type of iterative process several times in the past,” and the team remained committed to the project’s quality.

So while it could indeed be a new game in the works, “unannounced game title” could also be an expansion, extra content for Heroes of the Storm or HearthStone, or it could be Project Titan.

You wouldn't know that though because you've demonstrably never picked up a book nor educated yourself on the matter. Let me guess, overweight housewife?
