Laser hallway quota met. Maybe it just stuck out cause it's a bit longer of a trailer, but there were a few repeated scenes in there. Hope that doesn't translate to that's about all the action you'll being seeing, the rest being backstory exposition to catch up people who haven't watched the series in 5 years.

Women in tight clothes kicking ass, lots of explosions and violence. Yep this was a exactly as expected. With just enough plot to help answer some questions might have had about the story and such. Shame didn't get to see much of the new girls cause Rola is fine as... shit she's 16

As someone who liked the direction of RE 0-3+CV (and the novels), vs. RE4-7.
It was okay. If you were able to watch 3-5, you'll be able to watch 6.

If you remember the other 5, this movie is no different. The prequels don't matter, just go in, get your fan service, and be done with it.

They did a good job paying homage to the original movie that's for sure.

I usually love these but this one was not the best. Retribution was way better and I hate how they completely erased the story and characters from it with no explanation. That whole part kinda killed the movie for me but I enjoyed it somewhat, especially the plot twists.

Dude you have your fucking nostalgia glasses on. Go rewatch every single one of these movies. Every single movie since the 3rd has completely undone the work of the previous, making the cliff hanger completely useless and pointless. This is every movie since the 3rd, with out fail.

I'm certain of this only because I forced my gf to binge them all leading up to this, and while the movies are so-bad-theyre-good, the biggest complaint she had was how each crazy cliff hanger ending was undone in the opening sequence of the next movie. When you watch them like this, they allude pretty heavily that every one you love just died at some point off screen, not to mention that from the beginning a lot of the people you loved were probably clones.

I only get upset at this because this is probably why she hasn't gone to see John Wick 2 with me. I lost my cred for the new year because I forced her to watch these terribad movies that we're both guilty of liking way more than we should.

Only complaint in that regard I have is how they jumped from the end of the last film where we got Umbrella and Alice and remaining humanity all making a last stand together then bam this film starts with everything in rubble and Alice buried under it. Like wtf happened exactly? They mention betrayal but how why etc.

Also don't like how they retconned decent portions of the first movie
