Supposedly the trick (from reddit/gamefaqs) is to keep zooming/resting in Octagonal until the bunny girl says someone is going to win it all soon (she's standing to the left of the 200 coin roulette table by the tower of gold), and then at the 200 table, continuously bet on 12 and 14 until you win.

I'll report back of this actually works +_+

This is what worked for me. Took a while to get the jackpot roll after the girl said it was gonna happen soon (maybe like 25~ish minutes) but it worked.

And based on that I guess how many tokens should I start with before trying this??

Nvm got the jackpot after about 15 rolls with max bets :D

Had I responded in time, I would have said min is fine as the jackpot is a guaranteed 1,000,000 regardless of how much you bet lol

Also, how much actual "story" is after the credit roll?

after the first roll? probably like 30 hours i think? i have no idea why they consider the first fight the "end" enough to roll credits on

I like the mood when everyone hears about the Temple of Time. "What? We can go back, change time, and save Veronica? Let's do it? What could possibly go wrong?" And I'm here thinking, we're messing with forces we shouldn't be, lol.

Finally got the platinum yesterday.By the end I was just done with it all and rushing through materials to get all the costumes. I saved the final boss for the last trophy and I was very surprised that every story line is tied up. They went really above and beyond in that aspect.

Really excites me to see how much "post game" content there is and it seems to be part of the main story. I'm still in the post mid game content lol

I finally finished. 120 hours. No platinum trophy or whatever, but 100% of the content cleared. Idk if it trumps DQ8 but it's definitely up there for me.

Onto Valk Chronicles 4.

I was really reaching my limit at post game, I couldn't even find the willpower to kill the last 2-3 post game bosses I ignored, I just wanted to finish my platinum and be done. I also kinda wish they didn't leave some chars skill tree expansions in post game, where it loses its usefulness compared to having it pre post game, though I suppose they probably would've been useful post game still if I didn't just Erik cheese all the post game bosses.

I think this is one of those games that I would prefer without achievements. I think for the people that go for them (myself included) that it ends up taking away from the story by the end of it and I was just ready for it to be over.

So I just picked this up on GMG for 20% off. Anything critical I should know about early game? From the little I've read this thread I know to start with Draconian things on because they can be turned off mid game, and the Alchemy pot is amazing.

I have a question about gear effect. The schoolgirl outfits you get from Notre Medailles, and/or the Bunny Tails, does the effect on chest drop rate stack? Or is it one and done?
