He is fine after he paid his kidnappers, who were dressed as the local police, two large sums of money.
Still, shows that Rio is a shithole lol
Yes, today is when we figured that out.
Real talk.
If you're rich enough at 85 years old, you might have a 67 y/o mother-in-law. Just hope she's not Brazilian or else you could be on the hook for 28m pounds ransom.
http://deadspin.com/argentinian-olym...hle-1784313096Diego Gusman, an Argentinian Olympics official in Rio, told La Nacion that he believes the rooms his athletes are staying in have been sabotaged.
“There were water leaks in the walls, ceiling were things done on the run and with poor quality materials, but we also believe that there was some sabotage because how do you explain if that would cement blocks within the plumbing? it’s a mess and failures are repeated throughout the Villa.”

Not exactly Olympic-related, but close enough:

Some gems today..
http://deadspin.com/report-the-olymp...e-b-1784628802reports from witnesses of Sunday’s opening ceremony dress rehearsal explained to Brazil’s UOL that Tom Brady’s better half is part of a very weird segment that features her being assaulted and robbed.

And the obligatory, you're going to die in the water report:
http://deadspin.com/rios-water-is-st...ses-1784646250The Summer Olympics begin in four days in Rio de Janeiro, and the city’s waterways are still so dirty that one expert is recommending that anyone who visits the city should avoid putting their head under water.
The problem today is the same as it was last year: Although Rio has managed to reduce the level of bacteria in the water, there has been no progress in eliminating dangerous viruses.

The Australian dorms caught fire after construction was rushed to make them liveable. The fire alarm system was turned off because of construction on the building next door, but the Australians were never notified. During the evacuation a number of clothing items and a laptop were stolen.
I'm sure this has been predicted already with things the way they are, but watch the medals be made out of tin & aluminum when people get their hands on them, ha ha.

The IOC is dropping the potential for India & Africa from hosting a future Olympics because of how Rio turned out.
Serves them right.
